Help Us Wipe Out Waste!
Thanks to you, Stony Plain is ranked as one of the top municipalities within the Capital Region for sending the least amount of waste to the landfill. We need your help to become Number One!
Overall, the community has responded well to the Town of Stony Plain's garbage and recycling program changes launched in April 2012.
The intent of Wipe Out Waste is to reduce waste at the source, boost recycling and work towards an 80 per cent diversion rate from landfills — a goal set by the Capital Region Waste Minimization Advisory Committee.
